REGISTRATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 30, 2018

STEM professional volunteers are needed to run and design a total of three duplicate hands-on STEM workshops in the morning on Saturday, December 8, 2018 between 8 AM – 1 PM.

This is the 3rd Annual Oxnard Union High School District (OUHSD) STEM Day for Girls. Over 400 female middle school students are anticipated to participate in this event. The goal of the OUHSD STEM Day for

Girls event is to provide a breadth of hands-on experiences for all girls. STEM professional volunteers are needed to run a total of three hands-on STEM workshops in the morning on Saturday, December 8, 2018 between 8 AM – 1 PM. Students will rotate through three different sessions, so you will have new students at each workshop. In a separate series of workshops, parents learn about college and university opportunities and funding methods to encourage their daughters to attend higher education.
