Become a Mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters

Make a difference in the lives of youth in Ventura County by becoming a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBSVC). We believe that all youth should have the opportunity to succeed in life and live up to their full potential. Some kids need someone to help them along that path. Spend a few hours each week as a mentor to a young person and you can make a BIG impact in their life. It’s rewarding, it’s fun!

BBSVC has a number of opportunities for you to become a mentor: The traditional, community-based program involves a mentoring relationship where volunteers meet with a youth (ages 6 –15) for 2 – 4 hours, 2 – 4 times a month for a minimum of one year. Other mentoring opportunities include our Foster Youth Mentor Program, supporting youth in PEP: Probation & Early Prevention, LGBTQ Mentor Program, Gen2Gen, and site-based programs.
